The Process
At Home and Garden Umbria we provide you with a professional and experienced garden design and construction service. Whatever requirements you have for your garden, we can fulfil them to the highest standard by creating beautiful and practical gardens. Our designs and constructions are composed of bold elegant lines emphasised by structural landscaping and softened with local naturalistic planting. Below is a framework of how our process works, however, this can be tailored made for each individual client’s needs and requirements.

First Consultation
Our first meeting on site to discuss and understand your requirements and needs for your garden, sharing ideas and lifestyle preferences that reflect in the garden. Most importantly understanding the local and environmental conditions, an evaluation of the soil and any potential issues that may affect our future plans for your garden. This is also when we would understand the budgets for the project and what can be achieved.

Designs & Plans
If you wanted us to proceed further we would create a mood board to reflect our recent discussions and further ideas, allowing more formal and in-depth proposals to be presented. There would be a fee that would be deducted from future works for the above. Our work ranges from a small holiday home garden to a large garden construction with a swimming pool – we can create your garden in a traditional or contemporary style, tailored to your individual needs and preferences.

The Build
Using our in-house team of experienced craftsmen and tradesmen we bring together the concept of the plans to reality with an exceptional finish. Liaising with you throughout the process, with regular updates on our work. All our plants are personally selected and planted from one of Italy’s largest nurseries that is located on our doorstep.

Aftercare
Liaising with our clients is vital at all stages of the project, from the preliminary stage of discussions, as well as throughout the project and aftercare. We want our gardens to develop, thrive and mature beautifully, to complement this our team offer technical, bespoke maintenance for our gardens.
